Fairy Godfather

A Kansas City photographer we did a wedding with last summer has been SUCH an awesome person in helping us get some attention for our very own KC Weddings website. Josh has jump started the vendor blog with a great post and even posted on his blog about us. What’s even better, he’s sending people our way already, and it’s only been a few hours. He is AMAZING.

We headed down to the Crossroad’s First Friday to check out any KCWeddingScene-worthy shops. Found a few that we liked and I contacted them about doing an interview and possibly visiting their shops to get some photographs in order to write articles. Only sent out about four, but already got one response (and it was a positive one, so yay!). That should be all around fun! -K

Testing the Waters

Two days ago we sent out ten testers, or contact emails with attached media kits, to see what kind of response we would get. We’ll be calling at the beginning of next week to make contact in a different for and prove that we’re real people! If all goes well and we don’t need to tweak the media kit, we’ll send out another round of testers. -K
